I have always accepted with faith that God's timing is always perfect. I have never claimed to understand any of the timing, just accepted it. This past week has been a little challenging for me. Gary, my husband, was injured last Saturday. Basically, has the worst knee injury possible, looks like surgery will be this Wednesday. Don't know how long that the rehab will be, but looks like at least 8 - 12 weeks. This is very hard from him, very independent, never been injured in his life, always been able to drive. Now, not so much. I know that lessons are always learned in every circumstance. This is just an added challenge to preparing for a wedding, Tiffany graduating and moving, Krystal and Brad coming home, my entire family coming home for Christmas and wedding.
Blessings that I am thankful for at Thanksgiving
- God and all of his wonder
- Family, with all of our imperfections
- My Christian family and friends
- Technology: cell phones, email, blogs
- Doctors and hospitals
- My home, even with all of the stairs
- My job, I love teaching
- My glasses, can't read without them.
